Color with You use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

Data Protection Mechanisms for Sensitive Data

 

Our application does not collect or store any sensitive personal data from users. The only data we access is the user's Google Account information (name and email) which is required to create and manage the Google Sheet file where color information is saved. We do not transmit or share this data with any third parties.The color data collected (hex color codes, comments, website URLs) is not considered sensitive personal information. However, we take measures to protect this data:

  • All data is encrypted during transmission using HTTPS protocol.

  • Color data is stored securely in the Google Sheet file associated with the user's Google Account.

  • We do not retain or store any of the collected data on our own servers.

 

User Data Retention and Deletion

 

Our application does not independently store or retain any user data beyond the lifecycle of the active user session. All color data is saved directly to the user's own Google Sheet file. Users have full control over their data stored in the Google Sheet file at all times. They can view, modify or delete this data through their Google Account and Google Sheets interface as per Google's data policies. If a user wishes to permanently delete all data collected by our extension, they can simply delete the Google Sheet file itself from their Google Drive. We do not manually access or retain any user data after the extension has been uninstalled from the user's browser.
